From summer sessions in Burnaby to crisp fall programs in Chilliwack and an international spotlight in Kelowna, the past few months have shown what makes skating in British Columbia special: determined athletes, rink-side encouragement, and clubs cheering one another on.
That community reaches from the Lower Mainland to the Okanagan, Vancouver Island and the Kootenays. Behind every competition are coaches, families, officials, volunteers and local clubs who make room for skaters at every stage. British Columbia and Yukon share a Skate Canada section, bringing even more communities together on and off the ice.
