There’s something truly special about the figure skating community in British Columbia. From early morning practices to packed competition arenas, BC skaters, coaches, and families form a tight-knit network built on passion, resilience, and support. Whether it’s a first-time STARSkater stepping onto the ice or a high-performance athlete chasing national dreams, the energy across the province is unmistakable.
BC is also home to some of Canada’s top training environments, including the renowned Champs International Skating Centre in Burnaby, where many national-level athletes train and develop their skills.
Over the past few months, that community spirit has been on full display at competitions across BC, the Yukon, and beyond.
